Eames Soft Pad Chair EA 208, base powder coated deep black

Charles & Ray Eames

Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969, the Soft Pad Chair EA 208 combines the Aluminium Group frame with upholstered cushions for added seating comfort, shown here with a deep black coated base. With Vitra Circle for Contract, it begins a second life cycle – refurbished directly by the manufacturer.

Each chair is fully dismantled, its aluminium parts are refurbished and the upholstery is renewed to your specifications. The chairs are then reassembled at the Vitra factory following the same process as new products, including an inspection of all mechanical components and new glides. Fabrics and leathers, along with their colours, can be freely selected.
